Chimaera – SC400
Testing is now complete, the 4.0 Supercharged Chimaera having undergone extensive mileage testing both on the road and track for performance and durability evaluation. Final Dyno testing and fuel mapping of the unique ECU chip was completed with excellent repetitive results being achieved, the performance curves tell their own story, 275 Hp and 280 Ft.lbs. torque ‘at the wheels’, not bad from the standard 4.0 litre!

The car will undergo further track evaluation during August to verify performance from the new chip, then the system will be available to owners of cars with the 4.0 litre engine. The C30 Supercharger development is also complete for the 4.5 and 5.0 litre engine derivatives with fueling and ECU mapping now underway, hopefully we will be able release complete systems for these cars shortly.
SC 400/450/500 Supercharger systems
AUTOdesign have now finalised the system design and waiting for verification on the Dynamometer shortly. All parts are sourced, the final components for the intake system being delivered shortly.

TVR Power have installed a stock 4.0 litre engine into their Chimaera and are finalising the changes to the plenum area to accommodate the Supercharger intake.
To reduce under bonnet air temperature and radiated heat to the Supercharger installation, the exhaust manifolds have been Ceramic coated. An added benefit is reduced heat transfer to the car interior, drivers benefiting from a cooler cockpit, especially in the summer months.
